Righting the Ship
COVID-19, whole cities on lockdown, an economic crisis - this is some scary shit.
And it looks to be our ‘new normal.’ Things are going to be different from here on out.
Here’s the deal: you have a choice right now. You can retreat into fear, depression, and anxiety in the face of this outbreak – tuning out with Netflix and gorging cheese balls (wait, that’s my husband – you probably don’t gorge on cheese balls) and cookies or hoarding toilet paper and bullets – or you can look at this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reinvent yourself.
if you have been neglecting your health – for any reason or for any length of time – now is your chance to take control and right the ship. Don’t wait. It doesn’t matter what you are struggling with – weight gain, fatigue, hot flashes, sleep disruptions, or any one of about 40 other physical symptoms that are commonly attributed to menopause – all of these are your body’s way of telling you it needs some attention.
So do it. Tune in and get to the bottom of what’s causing your discomfort. Chances are good that it isn’t what you think, and that the ‘fix’ is much simpler than you’ve been led to believe.
